Carlton PD found a creative way to bring some positivity to their community.
Chief Kevin Martinez chose a green ribbon to put on the patrol cars' antennas to represent optimism, healing, well-being, calm, safety, harmony, freshness, life, and renewal. The green ribbon is a reminder that, although we are in this crisis right now, there is reason for hope. They are also displaying a teddy bear with a Green ribbon in the window of their patrol cars.

A Deschutes County grand jury returned a five-count indictment Friday against a 35-year-old man accused of trying to infect a Bend police officer with the new coronavirus by “spitting, coughing and breathing” at him.

Bella's back! Honoring her father and collecting police patches one city at a time
Badge Boys
Back in January, we sent out a request from Dean Goodding and Alan Painter to send in an agency patch to give to Bella, 10 year-old daughter of fallen Arizona DPS Officer Christopher Marano. In this episode of Badge Boys, Bella joins them for an update. At the 14-minute mark, she is given a box of patches from Oregon.
